They are always upbeat and offering suggestions for how to work the program and improve your success. My wife and I have both seen great results on the scale but more importantly we have begun to better see the connections/results with our eating habits and overall health. We now better realize that we do not need as much food as we previously thought to be satisfied and not be hungry. Great program if you follow the plan. They realize you may make mistakes but that does not mean you failed just that you need to refocus. Once you are on maintenance, a few more weeks for me before that happens, they are there for you to provide the support needed for the lifetime journey not just the short term success. I was at the point of scheduling my Bariatric surgery when I had a "Come to Jesus" moment.  I thought what would it hurt to try one more time. I have tried many (9) times to lose the weight (diets,etc) As it turns out, my patience paid off, I'm down 40+ pounds and enjoying life again.  The moment I walked into the Newton office, I was greeted with smiles and such positivity, I thought to myself that there is no way this could fail.  From the very beginning I was treated with respect and the genuine concern for my health.  Something that I never received from any other weight program. I can say that if you stick to the program it will work for you.  The staff at Newton are some of the finest ladies I have ever met. They honestly care about your weight loss and do everything they can to make sure you succeed in you program.  And in the event you "stray", they will give advice how to get you back on track.  I was very fortunate to meet the owner, Paige on one of my visits and that really made it real to me.  I am so glad I walked through the door in Newton and then Catherine saved my life. This was an easy program to follow but the best part was all of the consultants at the Newton location. They were all very welcoming and very good listeners even though many were young enough to be my adult children. Everyone answered my questions if I was having a hard time understanding some of the concepts, like adding “good fat”. I was given a schedule type of timetable when to eat a meal and when to have a snack. Some of my special issues were I’m over 65 years old and I work nights, 7 on 7 off. My eating schedule covered both my working night schedule and my day schedule when I was off. I was worried once I transitioned to maintenance that I’d gain the weight back but so far I’ve kept it off and now it’s just second nature. One thing I always remember is that if I fall off I just get right back on the next day. I recommend Awaken 180 whole heartedly and whether you have a few pounds to lose or more than 40 like me, you won’t be disappointed! Read Less

Read MoreI'd like to share my experiences with Awaken 180 Weightloss.First, I can say from my own experience that you  can successfully lose weight on the program. Since starting the program in the end of April (today is 26 August), I have officially lost about 38lbs. I’ve dropped at least 2 dress sizes, and my pant size has gone from a tight 14 to a comfortable size 10. I plan to lose a bit more weight (personal goal), but overall, I’m thrilled with how far I’ve come.Second, the program is a mixture of their products (80% [eg, high protein shakes, soups, pancakes, etc]) and your own food (20% [eg, lean meats, vegetables, olive oil]). Overall, their products are pretty good with just a few exceptions (ex, egg products). The first couple of weeks, I was definitely “Hangry” but after about week 2 of closely following the program and adjusting my fat intake, my cravings dropped and my appetite definitely went down. I was never that person who “forgot to eat” but there are times when I do forget my snacks. I’ve learned to get creative with my vegetable choices (zoodles anyone? How about cauliflower “mashed potatoes”?). There were times when I found the program restrictive and tough to follow (eg, Traveling and Celebration Events [We are a food family!]) but I also though is was easy and took out the guess work (more on that later).Third, I’m not going to lie, the cost, in my opinion, is high (especially compared to programs that do not include their food), but with that cost comes food products, very friendly staff, support, education, and free lifetime maintenance.  For me, I can justify the cost as an investment in me and prevention/reversal of other illnesses that were creeping their way into my life (eg, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia).Finally, why did it work for me? Remember that “easy” comment 2 paragraphs ago? For me, I appreciated having someone else figure out my meals and what I could eat. I pulled out a meal item and “POOF!” there was no more thinking. Quarantine has left me with a bit of a COVID fog, so I really appreciated having at least one responsibility taken off my shoulders. Working from home, I can quickly slip downstairs between meetings and prepare a meal or snack. Knowing my food choices forced me to stop the constant grazing and nighttime binges. I was not 100% perfect on the program (remember what I said about travel), but I did find it very easy to get right back on the program without loosing too much speed.As far as whether I’ll keep the weight off? I truly hope so, but I guess that remains to be seen. I intend to keep up with the maintenance program, and I still hope to lose a bit more weight. I’ve tried to be very thoughtful of how I feel eating a low carb diet versus how I feel when I go off program and eat a high carb meal (or 2). The arthritis in my knees and my low back pain are soooo much better now that I've cut the excess carbs from my diet – that alone is worth it to me. It is also pretty awesome to be told at 49 years old that I look like I did in high school (of course they may need glasses, but I’ll take it!).Anyway, I hope this helps at least one person. I may or may not be biased.  :)Second - I love the crew at the Newton location where I have been going for my meetings.  They are knowledgeable and supportive.  I know that when they say something, they will follow up - example: at one of my recent meetings, we discussed the seasonal recipes they have come up with to help clients with navigating the holidays (this time it was for Passover and Easter).   By the time I got home I had an e-mail sitting in my inbox with the recipes.  They are always available if I have questions and are quick with their responses.Third - I started before the COVID-19 pandemic and have continued throughout. Kelsey has been my coach and she is awesome! Due to Covid, we talk weekly, but she is always there whenever I have a question. I still have the hectic schedule, but Kelsey helps me with a plan for those busy days and still eat healthy.The food is actually very good and one thing is for certain, I will never go back to my old eating habits.I have saved the best for last. The weight loss and the compliments are great. But as much as I have always been a very active person, I was on two blood pressure medications. Two weeks into the Awaken 180 program, I was feeling lethargic and dizzy. This program is so healthy, that my blood pressure came down naturally, and the meds were causing it to go too low. I walked in weighing 273lbs (my all time high) and had a goal of 200lbs. What did this mean? I was about to embark on  a journey to lose 73lbs in 14 weeks. I am proud to say that I 55lbs down today through 11 weeks and this program is rock solid and straight up works. I have 3 weeks left and I am 18lbs, 3% bodyfat loss and 1 point of visceral loss away from my goal and this program has already been life changing for me. I feel great, I look great, I have more energy than i have had in 15 years and i now sleep without snoring. I have dropped 4 pant sizes and this program has been life changing for me. As a veteran dieter, I started doing Keto, Paleo, Weight Watchers, and a Whole Food Plant based diet--anything I could think of to try and get rid of those pounds without any success. I would lose a pound here or there that would immediately return. I started Awaken180 at the Peabody location the end of March. As of today, I am down 15 lbs of pure body fat. I'm down from an XL to a medium size clothing. I have amazing energy and ABSOLUTELY NO CRAVINGS! Night sweats have stopped too!It's been an amazing journey. The staff has helped "tweak" the plan so that I get maximum results in minimum time.  I had 1 week were my weight stayed the same from an indiscretion and the staff helped me get right back into fat burn and the weight went down again the next week.  I went on a 2 week active vacation taking some products, some recommended  snack-like substitutes with me and my blender. My goal was to maintain for those two weeks. I was absolutely stunned that I managed to lose weight--ON vacation! Steady, consistent weight loss without exercise unless you want too.  I eat out without difficulty and even get to add butter to my veggies (it's dieter's heaven). The staff has always been friendly and positive. They are very knowledgeable and supportive. I'm always asked if I have anything coming up for the next week so I can go to whatever fully prepared with a plan in place. I would have never thought eating as much recommended fat would allow me to burn body fat the way it has. If you have any doubts, don't! I’ve tried all sorts of weight loss pills and gym but nothing was working other than watching my weight go up. I seen the ads for Awaken180 and since it was down the street from me I figured I’d give them a call. I went in and spoke to a Councelor and he told me about the program and how it worked and if I followed the program he told me I would lose the weight. He asked what my weight goal I was looking for which I replied at 180.  He said that would be about 20 lbs and no problem. Of course I was skeptical and it was hard to believe him especially where I had to buy into the program. Well I said at this point let me try. Well to my surprise I stuck to the program to the T. I ate what I was supposed to eat and at the time I was to eat it. Well the first week I went from 199.5 to 188. I was shocked how the weight just came off of me. I’m sure a lot was water but you could definitely see the difference. By the end of my 4 week trial I went down to 174 but leveled out at around 178-180 my goal. It was hard for me to keep that 174  weight but the point is here that I lost and got to my goal in 4 weeks and lost 25lbs.  If you’ve tried losing weight and it’s just not happening, try Awaken180. The photo of me sitting is in October 2019 and I had reached my heaviest of all time (475) I was disgusted with everything.   I started to try to correct things but said I’d go through the holidays then start.   I drive 40 miles each way to and from work and listen to sports radio each way (WEEI).   I had heard the adds and endorsements for a while so made an appointment to sit and talk    I live in Seekonk so there really was no excuse to not at least visit.   As I said I began the program because there was no pressure.   There where no false promises and the Representative was the first one to express what I already knew.  That if I did not make changes myself the program would fail.   That truthfulness is what got me sign upSo today I can say I made the changes, embraced the program and second pick is me a week ago going out dressed up for the first time in a year.   The cloths finally fit (and we’re loose).  I started the program at (446) and yesterday’s weigh in visit I was (373).   73 lbs down and 9 weeks to go on my second 10 week program.    Thank you to the staff of Seekonk who have been great.   Supportive, put up with my times I’ve been mad at myself for not hitting self imposed goals and everyone being so friendly. Back in October of 2019 I decided I need to make a change and lose some weight. I made an appointment at the Seekonk location and went in for my consultation. The staff was warm and inviting. They didn’t make me feel bad about being overweight and were very encouraging about the results that were possible. I started the program in early November. I lost 9.8 lbs my first week. Here we are in February and I’ve lost 43 lbs. I feel incredible and get compliments all the time about my weightloss. The program is very easy to follow and really works. I encouraged 2 friends of mine to join as well and they’ve seen the same results. The team in Seekonk always greet me with a smile and have encouraging words. I have called from restaurants asking questions about food, they always are helpful. They talk wuth me about any events coming up and help to navigate me through any difficult stressful life issues that would drive me to eat. When the times have come that I dont have a good weigh in because of choices I made, they never make me feel badly or ashamed.  We just talk about how the week went and ways to improve it. I have been on the maintenance phase for 4 months and I still go and see them and I enjoy it and I do need to go to keep accountable of my weight and lifestyle. The Danvers team is amazing!
