Winters can be great; spending time with loved ones and seeing old faces you haven’t seen all year. However, winters can also be tough. With the snow and the never-ending colds, we all need a little something extra to get us through and it doesn’t always have to come with the guilt!

Low Carb Whiskey Sour

Yields 1 serving

This easy cocktail is perfectly balanced between sweet and sour with a silky-smooth texture. It’s one of my favorite sugar-free whiskey drinks of all time – the low-carb whiskey sour.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Whiskey or Bourbon
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1-2 Stevia drops
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 1 cup Ice

Instructions

1. Add your whiskey/bourbon, lemon juice, and stevia drops to the Cocktail Shaker.

2. Crack in the egg white.

3. Shake all these ingredients together for about 30 seconds. Now, you should add in the ice and shake vigorously for another 30 seconds.

4. Pour the drink slowly into a cocktail glass. Leave a tiny bit of the mixture in the cocktail shaker, which you can shake for a few seconds to create a foamy top for your drink.

Dark and Stormy

Zevia is the perfect soda alternative, it’s delicious, and it’s sugar-free! This light, sweet cocktail is the perfect pairing of rum and ginger with a hint of lime juice and zero guilt. Don’t skimp on the lime juice!

Instructions

  1. Juice half a lime into a chilled glass and add a dash of bitters. Pour Zevia Ginger Beer and lime juice in a glass over ice.
  2. Put a spoon upside down over each glass and pour the rum over the spoon, so the mixture stays separate.
  3. Put the ginger and lime wedge on a skewer for garnish. Enjoy!

Brandy Amaretto Cappuccino

Yields 1 serving

The perfect hot drink on a cold winter’s day. This creamy coffee delight pairs our popular Amaretto Cappuccino with your favorite whiskey. Take your drink to the next level by frothing your cream and topping your drink. You can find a great Portable milk frothier on Amazon!

Ingredients

  • 1 Awaken180 amaretto Cappuccino packet
  • 6-8 oz black coffee of your choice
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 oz Brandy

Instructions

  1. Make coffee
  2. Stir in 1 Awaken180 amaretto cappuccino packet.
  3. Add your brandy.
  4. (Optional) In a separate glass, add heavy cream, froth until it thickens, add to coffee.
  5. If you don’t have a frothier you can just stir in the cream.

Hot Toddy

Yields 1 serving

Let’s warm up with a Hot Toddy, a simple cocktail to warm your soul. Your parents’ timeless remedy to help fight against symptoms of the common cold and flu. This classic cocktail is simple to make, and with a little adjustment, you can enjoy this drink on the program! Cinnamon is a nutritious spice that helps regulate blood sugar and boost energy levels.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz hot water
  • 1 whole star anise pod (optional)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1-2 OZ Bourbon
  • Lemon slice for garnish
  • Stevia (In replace of honey)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot or kettle
  2. Add water, star anise, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to a small pot over high heat and bring to a boil
  3. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes. The longer you let it step the spicier your drink will be. Turn off the water and add the tea bag and let steep for 3 more minutes
  4. Take out the bag and spices. Stir in the juice of ½ lemon and bourbon, and add 1-2 drops of liquid stevia
  5. Serve with a cinnamon stick and a slice of lemon
